Super 8 by Wyndham Austin North/University Area

Good informative service, the room was fine and clean, the bed was on wheels and would pull away from the wall, given the room layout and design it appears it used to have a king mattress but has since been downgraded to a queen . This led to the room feeling bare with just a table and two chairs. A small coach would have been nice to have since there was plenty of space available. Location seemed kinda sketch , but stayed in worse ,we still felt safe in the area. We were able to see plenty of Austin from this location being semi central Not bad for the price per night. Side note the "hot breakfast" was nothing more than a Texas shaped waffle , the only options available was cold cereal . Pretty limited.

Great rates decent rooms. Was there for a week will be back again. Good location can get anywhere I need to be within 20 minutes

I recently stayed at Super 8 North University and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The customer service was extremely poor from the moment we arrived. The staff was not welcoming or helpful, and communication felt dismissive rather than supportive. What upset me the most was how my children were treated. It felt like they were being unfairly singled out and watched in a way that made us uncomfortable. As a parent, that is not a good feeling at all. I also couldn’t shake the sense that we were being stereotyped, which made the entire stay even more unpleasant. Every guest deserves to feel respected and valued, especially families traveling with children. Sadly, that was not our experience here. I hope management takes concerns like this seriously and works on improving b

Overall I really liked it they cleaned the room everyday while I was at work the towels where always fresh I didn't see any bugs or roaches of any kind and I was there for a total of 8 days. The staff was friendly and the coffee on the weekend was fantastic! I was on the fourth floor and the hallways were clean alittle warm but the ac in the room worked really well and they had vending machines for snacks. The toilet worked and I never had a problem with the hot water. I was able to watch the game and some racing and sleep soundly on the bed. No complaints here I would recommend it especially if your on a budget and I will definitely be staying again soon.
