Super 8 by Wyndham Alexandria/Washington D.C. Area

I recently stayed at Super 8 by Wyndham and just had to leave a review because Soliana, Elizabeth, and Daya truly made my visit a great one. From the moment I checked in, Juliana was so welcoming and helpful, making the whole process easy and pleasant. Elizabeth was always friendly and professional whenever I needed anything, and she handled everything quickly while still making me feel valued as a guest. Daya was just as kind and attentive, always checking to make sure I was comfortable and had what I needed. It’s clear that all three of them genuinely care about their work and about the people staying there. Because of them, my stay felt smooth, comfortable, and stress-free. I really appreciate their hard work and would happily stay here again.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times in 2025. I’ve also stayed in 2021 and 2017. The improvements to the hotel have been considerable. Wifi and appliances work. The rooms have mini fridges and microwaves. The hotel is kept clean. Kudos to the management. Great value for money.

Overall I wasn't real pleased with this Super 8. To be fair I never expect a lot from a Super 8 so there's specific reasons I rated it at 3 stars. Room 1 before I had to switch rooms. 1. The first room, although a pretty nice room, had hardly had any outlets to plug work computers into, and zero Outlets by the desk. I had to stretch my charger across the TV and use its Outlet to charge my laptop. I had to use the bathroom outlet to charge my devices. 2. I had to switch rooms because the toilet wouldn't flush urine. It definitely would not have flushed excrement. The hotel help made it easy to switch rooms, but I shouldn't have needed to. Room 2. 1. Second room was a substantial downgrade in quality. Second room at least had an outlet by the desk. The hotel is located with easy access

It was a nice and clean hotel. I would stay again. The breakfast wasn't what I expected but other than that I would stay again. You can basically walk to shopping and food spots in the area. No need to drive. Thanks for your service. And God bless.
