Super 8 by Wyndham Albany

Positive: It?s location Negative: The sink handle kept falling off. The bathroom towels were dirty. They said there would be some breakfast items. There was nothing g out except coffee. I asked and was offered toast or a bagel. That was it.

I expected the rooms to be terrible but I didn’t expect to get hustled at the front desk because I made the mistake of booking a smoking room. So I had pay them cash to change rooms to a nonsmoking! And the next morning I didn’t expect a gourmet breakfast, but they didn’t even have coffee! Juice? Water? Anything? Anything at all?|Next time I’m sleeping at the airport the night before my flight

Horrible experience. It started with a little issue - they sold me room yesterday with breakfast and then few hours later informed via email (which I don't check all time) that breakfast is not being served at this location. But we'll, the room was rather serious problem: - the main light was not working - there was NO water tap in the bath - the water tap in the sink was literally dancing around (not fixed) - there were bugs in the bath and also in the bed - towels were smelly and filled with human hair - there were brown stains everywhere in the bathroom It was just horrible experience. Never again!

Alot of mixed reviews, but I'm here to say that the "Super 8" in Albany isn't half bad. Quick access to I87, and less than 10 minutes from the airport. the guy at the front desk was friendly during check-in. Room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the toliet flushed, and the shower had hot water. On a few less positive notes: The room was small, and furnishings were kinda dated (Magnavox TV on the wall giving circa 2010 vibes). Walls are thin, and you can hear the cars on the street. Overall: 4 outta 5. I'd stay here again.

Rooms very quiet and clean. Great location for shopping and restaurants. People are very nice there. Would definitely recommend
