Sunrise Motel

Not the worst place I've stayed but the other people staying there kinda ruined it. The rooms are sufficient, not modern but not awful. The staff is very nice. The building is clean. Parking is good. HOWEVER there were a lot of people from Vermont in minivans and those oversized trucks who chain smoked in the parking lot. So much for sleeping with the slider / window open. Not exactly the fresh sea air we wanted. It seems like this is where people stay when they miss the turn for Hampton Beach.

Views even from a “partial view” room were beautiful. We only stayed one night but the town has plenty to do and the views are worth the stop. The front desk ladies were both very helpful and gave good local recommendations. It is older but we found it to be clean and comfortable.

This darling little motel was a very unexpected surprise. I read the good Tripadvisor reviews before booking, but the price was so much lower than the other places I looked at, that I was a little skeptical. The Sunrise Motel does not offer a breakfast, so you do have to add breakfast expense into your nightly cost. However, it is still a bargain. If you are expecting a five star resort, this is not the place. But if you are looking for a comforable, clean room and a great view, this fits the bill. The ladies at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful. When we checked out, I left a pair of slippers in the room. I had not realized it, but we got a all from the front desk 15 minutes after we left, to let me know. The place was very cute and well taken care of. The room was the

Clean and basic. We were there off season so it was quiet. There is a deck where you can sit and watch the sunrise.

We only had a few days, but I enjoyed every second of our time here. Shirley was so sweet and helpful! She guided us to restaurants and sights to see perfectly! I absolutely would stay here again! The rooms was updated and clean! The location was perfect, and the sunrises were breathtaking!!
