Sturbridge Country Inn

This was a much needed relaxing stay in one of the coolest towns New England has to offer. The room was very clean and comfortable and the owner was very kind and accommodating. I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. The huge tub in the room was awesome. Easy access to the main routes and old Sturbridge village right next door. Super awesome spot to rest and unwind.

I have visited this place more than a few times & always a charming experience. Very comfortable, clean rooms, some with jacuzzi's. Romantic getaway for couples! I had my honeymoon here also. We enjoyed the king suite once as well, I believe it was called. Very impressed, would highly recommend. Great service! Beautiful atmosphere. Comfortable lobby. Friendly owners/staff. Worth a visit anytime! Convenient location, easy to find with plenty of parking spaces.

I was a bit hesitant after seeing the reviews, but decided to stay here still and was very happy. It's an old inn, not a modern hotel, so some parts are a little older or more rustic, but overall the room was great, the bed was comfortable, and the whirlpool tub was the star of the show! We stayed in a king deluxe ensuite. The man who checked us in was nice and friendly, and made sure we were all set. Just keep in mind it's a small family-owned place, so they don't have staff in the office 24/7. Not a problem for us, but if you're arriving late then call ahead!

Great inn. Owners very personable and helpful, but also laid back and gives you your space. My hubby and I had an amazing experience for our anniversary. A quick ride (all highway) to six flags which is a plus! The jacuzzi is awesome!!! On the second night we came back to a note offering us another room as the AC didn't work (we didn't even complain or notice) which was extremely generous. They really take care of you here!! We will be returning in the winter to use the fireplace!!! This is the best inn I've stayed at for such a nice price. You will not be disappointed!

This place is my absolute favorite place to stay in Sturbridge! It offers so much rustic charm and a unique environment that appeals to my family and myself. The management has always gone the extra mile to accommodate our requests. We stayed here for our wedding in 1998. Today I write this in the exact same room, celebrating with my husband and our beautiful daughter. We have stayed here several times since 1998, maybe 6 times since then. Every time, we leave happy. In an ever changing economic climate, tastes change. I am so happy however that not much has changed at the Sturbridge Country Inn. Always relaxing comfort at an affordable price and unique amenities. Thank you so much for everything these past 20 years!
