La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sturbridge

I live in the Sturbridge Mass area, my pipes froze on Saturday Feb7, 2026 as a result of the coldest winter we’ve had in years, temps in the negative numbers. So I decided to spend Sunday night at a local hotel which was also the same night the Super Bowl was being played, after looking online at all the different hotels in Sturbridge, I chose La Quinta. The people at the front desk were very helpful and friendly, my room was very clean and quiet, plenty of places within a very short drive to pick up any type of food, bed was very comfortable, and the price was very affordable, they had a nice breakfast in the morning….comfortable, convenient to anything you might need, and safe. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed in the "King Suite" for 3 nights with my father. Just got back home today at the time of writing this. Apologies for lacking images; I was rather exhausted during the entire stay and didn't have the energy or forethought to snap photos. My exhaustion was not relevant to the La Quinta hotel, for the record.||Here's a list of some problems and flaws that were encountered during our stay:||-Window provided a wonderful view of the dumpster! Money well spent!|-Tiny room; foot of the pull-out bed was extremely close to the king bed. Had to move the nightstand to fold it out. The King Suite is JUST a bigger singular bed, and a pull out sofa bed. That's it. You're paying extra for a worse room. It was $250/night, by the way.|-No bedding included for the pull-out bed. This establishment is managed by the owner who does a terrible job. First I stayed here for my wedding and after multiple confirmations of my suite over the phone, they never actually booked our room. The wedding block they had for our guests had plenty of rooms booked. I was told I could talk to the manager about our room price and I wouldn’t be charged…. The manager ironically never showed up during my stay. I was told they were there the morning of my wedding when I and the bride had no time to talk to them. The room service doesn’t service your room, the phone was broken, the group rate was higher than if you booked outside it, it was a hassle to get fresh towels, and lastly the hotel rooms are not worth what you are charged. This was our first time staying and it was very enjoyable. We asked to be put on the quiet part of the hotel and we had a very nice, quiet and peaceful night. No one talking loud or running around the halls at all hours of the night. We will be staying here again.

Positive: Easy to get to, easy to check in, spacious room. Negative: The temperature could only be controlled by the unit near the window, thermostat was useless. The bed was stiff and our backs hurt in the morning.
