Studio 6 Killeen, TX

The staff was excellent, friendly, and professional towards me at all times (even at 2am when my room key didn’t work🤦‍♂️)! I was here for over a month for work. The WiFi was excellent (able to stream and game online from a console)! The room has a kitchen and Walmart is right behind it. Great weekly rates. Very good for contracted workers, or a safe place if you are transitioning between homes. And certainly good for nightly stays because the rooms are spacious for your standard hotel rooms. Would stay here again for sure!

Positive: The only thing I enjoyed was that the only staff member working here was an awesome and sweet woman. I didn't want to say anything at first about my stay because I know she said she needed her job and I don't want trouble for her. But I can't stay silent Negative: First and foremost the deception of a 3 star hotel and naming it Studio 6 when clearly when you drive up to the hotel it say motel 6. The area is run down and in a very unsafe location. And honestly I felt like I was walking into the hood crime side town

Over all this hotel is not bad but to experience a roach infestation and then my room was switched and I still experience the same issue is ridiculous. Hotel management needs to bomb every room and have pest control come out. I would not recommend this hotel first hand simply because of this issue. No one should have to pay money for unwashed visitors. The sheets were dirty and housekeeping needs to do a better job. The bed frames are dusty, the sheets are dirty, the countertops are disgusting. Please do a better job with the up keep because this is pathetic. Thank you for the night shift worker who tried to accommodate my issue by changing my room but the owners are horrible with the upkeep of the property. If you could avoid staying here please don’t.

Ms. Michelle was very professional, pleasant and accommodating! I was in a last minute situation and she assured that I’d have a room. She went above and beyond, dutifully checking me in during her last minutes on shift. She even allowed me to inspect my room for quality, at which I was very pleased with its cleanliness and amenities. The centralized location provided for easy highway access, with shopping and dining just a block or so away. Highly recommended, especially if she’s on shift. Outstanding customer care! Why go anywhere else?

We had a very early check-in and the front desk clerk's efficiency and quietness to checking us in was so refreshing! The property and my room were all clean and well kept. The front desk associate who checked me in was extremely knowledgeable around the area. This is one of my favorite's places to stay when I'm in Killeen.
