Crossfire Trail Retreat

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend getaway! We enjoyed the peace and quiet of nature in a modern, well-stocked tiny cabin, and got to spend time with some precious animals! We loved on the baby goats, the sheep, the emus, the horses, cows, ducks, geese and gorgeous white peacock! We loved the outside area and just the ability to absolutely relax in this delightful place! We were even able to order Uber Eats because we didn’t want to leave to go get food! We cannot recommend Ray and his retreat highly enough! We will be back!

Amazing and accommodating. We traveled out for the eclipse on the 8th, and they were so welcoming and kind. We picked a campsite near the toilet, as I don't like squatting in the open, and it was clean with minimal smells. We forgot a lighter in our rush, and they let us borrow one with no fuss. The animals were around, goats and sheep and cows and emus, I think, and we were near the pregnant horse, and it was just lovely. The next morning, we were worried we'd have to leave before the eclipse, but they were kind enough to let us stay parked. We had a delicious provided breakfast and got to view the eclipse. It was beautiful, and the animals, the surroundings, and the rolling hills' views were just perfect. We will be back.

Very upset we got to the location later in the day that we didn’t get to maximize our stay like we should’ve. This cabin was perfect. Everything was neat and clean and adequate for me and my fiancé. We rented ATVs and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves even more. The animals did not bother us at all even at night it was a welcome compared to the city life. During our stay the owners where more than accommodating and walked out through the property giving us an efficient tour of the property. The animals where my favorite getting to see an Emu and Giant Rabbit upfront and touch them? The icing on the cake. During our last day they allowed the horses and goats to roam around freely which was cool. Farm life definitely seems worth it. We will definitely be back and can’t wait to enjoy the property

10 out of 10. Ray is a fabulous host. The animals are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. We were even able to ride the 4 wheel around the property. If you haven't checked the farm, you're definitely missing out

I took my spouse here for her birthday we had a peaceful time the animals are cool our favorite was Reggie the ostrich and loved the four wheeler we rode around everyday James was very nice and answered any ?s promptly Definitely recommend this relaxing place
