Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Killeen

I cannot speak highly enough about Tyler and the staff at this location. I was beat from driving alllllll day… hungry and tired, I walked in… He greeted me with a smile. He was caring, kind, and genuinely trying to make sure I had a great experience. This wasn’t fake.. or rehearsed… this guy truly cares about his job. The rooms are clean and priced well. I even forgot my toothbrush and they gave me one and some toothpaste complimentary.. again. I can’t express How refreshing it is to know that when I’m in Kileen and need to stop to rest.. I now have a place to go every single time.

Positive: Quiet - I asked for a quiet room and got it. Good shower and soft towels. Negative: Beds are getting a little soft over the years so getting back pain. The HVAC needs to be fixed. Last two stays, the thermostat doesn't work very well.

We were here for 3 weeks. And the staff was great from the front desk.to the house keepers. But the young lady that runs the kitchen. She is the best. I love her vibe and she loves her job you can tell. From room 101 Mother care giver.

Nice hotel! Friendly staff and good breakfast. Our room smelled (mold maybe?), but once reported the concierge quickly allowed us to switch rooms. Walls are a bit thin, we could hear activities in other rooms around us and children above us, but once we moved rooms, that issue was allievated. I utilized the workout facility with no issues and the internet was fast! Due to price, friendliness of staff and location, I would stay again.

Booking at Fairfield in Killeen, Texas(11/23) was the worst experience I have ever had. I booked a room, called 48 prior to the arrival date to cancel the room. Apparently, the lady at the desk didn't cancel the reservation like she told me that she did. I called back the next day, and spoke to a gentleman who assured me that he cancelled the reservation. I then received a notification from my bank that there was a $100 charge. When I inquired, I was told that it was because the reservation was not cancelled within 48 hours. It's not my fault that the workers failed to do their jobs. I requested to reverse the charges and was told that I had to speak to the district manager, Monica. I did, and she was of NO HELP AT ALL.
