Studio 6 Dallas, TX - Northwest

Booked a non smoking room through booking.com. Pros: Location!! Friendly People at Front desk!! Looked like a safe place!! Clean towels, sheets, average comfy bed. Cons: Room smelled moldy, weedy when AC was on. My first experience in a Worst room, in which I have stayed ever. Dated cabinets and ancient AC desperately need air filter replacement, service and update. Couldn’t sleep beyond 4 hrs. Got throat pain because of unbearable smell. Dead roach. Not worth $70 a night. Management has to take serious efforts to provide a descent stay.

Being a Senior Tripadvisor Reviewer, I give a totally honest review! Studio6 DFW NW is a terrific place to stay! The area is a bit off the beaten track, but the property is just great. As you enter you will find it to be very clean and quiet. Check in was fast, very courteous and professional. My room was just as it appears in the pictures. The room was Extremely clean with all appointments in place. The kitchenette came with a full size fridge and plenty of cabinets. All the dishes, utensils, pots and pans etc were clean and gleaming! The bathroom was spotless and good size. The A/C was perfect and quickly heated or cooled the room fast. The windows opened and closed for fresh air and had adjustable safety locks so the windows could not be open from the outside whether they were opened o

Must be paying for the kitchen, because everything else is crummy. Stopped here for a night while on a road trip and it was the low-point of the trip. You’d be better off staying at a regular Motel 6, or even just sleeping in your car. There was an indescribable stench no amount of febreeze could mask. Not stale cigarettes. Something only Stephen King could come up with. Rest of the room was banged up and the matress was awful, to boot. Since I was too tired to complain and see how the staff would have responded, I’ll leave them two stars. I just feel bad for anyone that has to work there.

I stayed for 4 days and it was a headache, Couple of guys there thinks its not a motel its a garage. They keep working on some car and it was too noisy. If you want some peace, I wont suggest this garage. I contacted the FD but that bald guy didn’t do anything.
