Be very cautious with the $50 deposit at this Studio 6 location. In my experience, the deposit feels less like a standard hold and more like a revenue mechanism. After checkout, part of my deposit was withheld for alleged “stained towels,” despite the fact that the room had a kitchenette with dishes but no dish soap or sponge provided. What’s concerning is that guests are effectively expected to keep towels pristine while also being given no proper cleaning supplies, and the hotel appears to shift the responsibility of linen care onto customers rather than laundering or replacing towels as part of normal hotel operations. I had an extremely disappointing experience at this Studio 6 location. During my stay, my original room flooded, and a free night was approved as service recovery. After checkout, however, part of my refund was withheld for “stained towels.” I have stayed in many hotels, including higher-end properties, and have never once had a deposit reduced for towel or linen use. This room included a kitchenette with dishes but no dish soap or sponge, making towel use foreseeable. Despite this, a discretionary charge appeared after checkout. What made the situation worse was the lack of follow-up. The front desk stated that the hotel manager would call me back and never did. Terrible. Almost every worker here was extremely rude, except for a couple of the desk clerks. Cleaners only spoke spanish, fine, but were VERY rude. Kept saying "You, out. Get out." As if they were angry with out behavior every though all we did was inquire about the reason we have to get out while they clean the room. No other hotel does this. Avoid the manager at all costs. Do not stay here, manager does not care about customer satisfaction. Only wants her money, Do not stay here.

I have been staying here for 5 weeks. I had an internship at UT Austin on the weekdays and needed to go home for the weekends so I was coming every week here. As a repeating customer, I expected better service and behavior than this. We asked to get room service and the lady came and said "You, out." Very rude. Extremely rude. But that's not even the whole story. We called the manager to ask if we can stay in the room while they clean because frankly, we have work to do. I have meetings and presentations to join, and I can't take them out in the corridor. While on the meeting they constantly were banging at our door and making extremely disruptive noise.
