Stoney Creek Inn Galena

This was our first time staying here and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms are super cute and the lobby is so comfy and cozy. The pool and hot tub were great! Theresa was wonderful! She held up to the expectations of reviews that I had read beforehand lol. She is very personable and goes above and beyond to make your stay exceptional.

Very convenient location on the mail highway. Quick 5 minute drive to Main Street. Very clean & comfortable with a northwoodsy vibe. Attentive receptionist. Nice hot tub. Bar. Breakfast perfectly adequate, but nothing super special.

The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Comfortable bed.|Bathroom was acceptable. I would have preferred comfort heights toilet seats.|The staff was very nice and accommodating. Theresa, a front desk worker and manager of the front desk staff, was outstanding. She was very friendly and enjoyed chatting with guests. I liked her overall demeanor. I am glad she is a manager since |The decor was north woodsy and I really liked it. The breakfasts were better than most hotels offer. The eating area with a fireplace was really nice. The woman who organized the food did a great job.|Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Positive: Clean throughout, room was awesome, breakfast was delicious and fresh, staff was super friendly, pool area was clean, and water was clean as well. Negative: Nothing that we didn't like.

Stayed during the week for a night, a couple weeks ago as I was passing through the area. Someone immediately came out to help me before I was able to finish taking a picture of their awesome, giant front desk bell. The room was by far one of the coolest and cleanest I’ve ever stayed in and I loved checking out of all the decor in my room. The building itself is beautifully structured and designed; plus they had an amazing pool/hot tub area with lots of toys and floats. They had a well stocked 24/7 pantry and a nice breakfast area too. Super friendly staff throughout my stay and hope to visit again soon!
