Irish Cottage Inn & Suites

The Irish Cottage was a very nice place to stay. Restaurant had really good food and drinks. Our room was wonderful and cleaned very well. We had a suite and the bed was very comfortable. I did ask for a couple more pillows because they are very flat and they only gave me 1. NOT A DEAL BREAKER!! The front desk gentleman who checked us in and was there two out of the 3 nights we stayed, he was very kind and provided great service. The hotel is very close to downtown AND they have a FREE shuttle service to take you and drop you off in town. Times very on the day of the week but during our stay it was Octoberfest and the shuttle went up to 11:00pm on Saturday night. We went for a wedding and it was off the Main Street in Galena and the drop off point was literally like 2 blocks away from the

Clean room and loved that it match the overall theme of the hotel. The breakfast was delish and service was great. Overall really enjoyed our stay!

What a beautiful hotel. My husband surprised me for my birthday and man he did good! This place was wonderful! It was quiet and peaceful. The rooms were clean and the bed was clean and comfortable!! They didn't skimp on the pillows there had to be 6 on the bed! There were so many towels! I mention this because normally I have to call down for more pillows and towels, this has to be the first time I haven't! We had a whirlpool room and it was perfect! Across the moon with him the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area so they helped us navigate what we should see first! We will definitely be back! I didn't take pictures I wish I had!

We had a wonderful time at the Irish Inn. The first morning was custom plated breakfast by order that came free with the room. Joey was exceptionally caring as a staff member in the dining room that day as well as very personable and friendly. We felt pampered. The food was excellent. The second morning there was a buffet With eggs, bacon, French toast, potatoes, yogurts, fruits, breads, and oatmeal as well as a juice bar and coffee bar. The swimming pool was warm. The Jacuzzi was relaxing. We felt like we had the place to ourselves. Wonderful wonderful stay. Thank you to Joey and all of the staff for making it feel like Home.

The rooms were very clean and quiet. Hotel staff was over the top kind and helpful. Restaurant food was fabulous but wow service there had a lot to be desired! No complaints on the complimentary breakfast
