Looking for a place to stay? Search no longer. This place is quite, neat, clean, peaceful, and affordable. Most have two rooms and a nice sized bathroom. Sleeps no more than five. It's perfect for a family vacation no matter what time of year. This place is wonderful and comes with a nice swimming pool and deck.

Steve's Cottages is a great place to stay with the family. The PRICES ARE GREAT, there is a large grilling areas, pools, picnic tables, full kitchen, large living room, 2BR, Central AIR, and a full bathroom with tub. Some people may like the cramped hotel atmosphere with just 2 Beds and a bathroom better. But, if you are looking to have a full kitchen so you can cook for your family, have a beach cottage for the week, and pay a very fair price there is NOT A BETTER PLACE than Steve's Cottages. Steve and his family were extremely helpful, and the booking and the stay at Steve's Cottages was absolutely fantastic. I would recommend this place to any family, who is looking to rent a newer beach cottage on Chincoteague.

We stayed 2 nights, and the major issue we had was the non-disclosure of a $25 cleaning fee that we were unknowingly charged for - we were told the nightly rate was $79, so we figured our bill would be about $175 or so (figuring in the 2 nights plus tax). When I saw on my statement that $203 had been charged to our account, I called and questioned it. When I was told the "extra" money was for a $25 cleaning fee, I stated that we weren't told about this prior, and the response was, "Well, you didn't ask." I won't make that mistake twice! The only other major drawback was that there is NO WI-FI!! None. So plan on burning up your cellular data/roaming plans during your stay. The cottage was clean & smelled great. Cozy! We stated in a 1 bedroom apt. It was comfy, spacious, clean, and had a well equipped kitchen. Had a sofa bed and pool, too! Afforable and close to the bvld and beach! Definitely recommend this place.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE AVOID THIS PLACE HAS BED BUGS, we were there the weekend of father's day and the place was full of bed bugs. When I told the lady at check out she didn't care. My son was bitten and got a really bad reaction and had to take him to the doctor ended up getting antibiotics to bring his swollen down. When I call the lady to complain I told her I was seeking a refund because of the medical bills I was having, she just laugh and said doctors dont give anything for bed bugs bites well my son ended up gettting medication because his swollen was really bad. At the end she gave me the ower cell phone I been calling him all this week but it appears that he does not care because I haven't heard back from him. Please avoid this place if you want to stay away from bed bu
