We spent more for an upgrade at this Marriott Bonvoy. The room was spacious to two people and it had a balcony with two chairs that overlooked the water / view of the bridge. This Springfield Bonvoy does not give snacks, ice cream as a treat when checking in, which was disappointing since the other Bonvoy’s did give us a little welcome gift bag. All the Fairfield hotels include a complementary breakfast. The receptionists were kind and helpful. It was exceptionally windy the time we stayed and the patio door was whistling from the small gap from the open door seal. This is a great location to stay while visiting The Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge to see the wild ponies. There is an outdoor pool which was closed for the off-season. Washer and dryer door was locked, we tried using ou

This hotel is in a great location on the water. We saw dolphins in the lagoon. Close to walking downtown. It was very clean. Breakfast area was kept clean and stocked. The rooms, hallways and elevators were very clean. It was unfortunate that so many shops were closed when we were there. It's a cute village.||We booked a "members premium suite" room for two nights. While we did get a balcony room it was over the pool/restaurant area. Since it was cool outside, the pool wasn't used, and we still sat on the balcony enjoying the view. What we did not understand - nor could staff answer - was why we were given an ADA room near the elevator? We do not require an ADA room hence, we don't like occupying a room that other patrons may need. The room setup is also different with shower and closet. C

The stay was PERFECT. Each time we passed an employee, they were all smiles and greeted us like family. We stayed in a 2 queen bed suite with sofa bed overlooking the pool and bay. The view was worth every penny. The room itself was very spacious and laid out nicely. Best hotel stay to date for sure. The breakfast was delicious and offered a nice variety. We stayed for 5 nights and did not get tired of it one bit, but rather looked forward to it. The pool was relaxing and clean. The amount of seating around the pool was very nice. I appreciated the fact they provided towels for guests at the pool. Having the Ropewalk so close to the hotel was also a plus. We could sit on the balcony and listen to great music, or simply walk a few steps to go there. The parking situation is usually a co

Really solid hotel with a great location. Even the "no view" rooms have a decent view, and the deck is wonderful. The one downside is that the walls are thin so you will hear other people if there are people in the adjacent rooms, but all in all no complaints.

My family of 4 stayed here last month and we were very pleased with this hotel. It's very clean, modern, and right on the water. We loved the large bathroom and there was plenty of space for luggage. My girls really enjoyed being on the water and they loved eating breakfast outside on the deck by the pool and watching all the laughing gulls fly by. The sun set right over the pool and there is a little boardwalk around the building we liked to walk around every night. I was impressed with how clean they kept the area, especially from the bird poop since there are tons of gulls flying around. We had one minor issue with our stay and the hotel manager truly stepped up and provided excellent customer service to us. You can tell this particular hotel is managed extremely well with customer serv
