Chincoteague Island

I have stayed here twice and cannot express how nice it is. The facility which was completely remodeled in April of 2025 was really nice when I stayed in 2021 and is even better now. Beautiful spacious, comfortable rooms with a balcony providing a view of the marsh between Chincoteague and Assateague Islands. It is located at the beginning of the bridge leading into Assateague. The location couldn't be better. The staff is always so welcoming, friendly and very helpful. They have a very nice breakfast daily and a laundry which came in handy on this trip. Plenty of free parking and a very nice outdoor pool during the season. Highly recommend this hotel. Safe, modern amenities and the nicest staff.

Beautiful new hotel on this wonderful destination which is located adjacent to the bridge linked to the National Park and seashore as well as close to restaurants, stores |and places of interest. Exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable front desk staff in this newly opened hotel. The guest rooms are large , well equipped and have a patio or balcony with nice views.|A nice complementary breakfast is offered.|Wonderful place to stay while enjoying this wonderful destination.

This hotel is now a Spark by Hilton. Great location at the entrance to Assateague Island. The hotel was very accommodating to bike riders accessing the park. My wife and I stayed here two days and brought our Ebikes to ride into the park and around town sightseeing. We were allowed to bring our bikes up the elevator and into our room at night. The front desk and other staff were very pleasant and helpful with our needs and questions.

This property was very impressive due to the cleanliness of the hotel and its location. I dare say it is the perfect location if you are visiting the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. You can hop on a bike and be there in minutes! The hotel is maintained superbly and spotless. Be aware that Google Maps does not recognize this property - it was previously a Best Western and is still listed as such.

This was our first stay at Spark by Hilton on the Island. We were very pleased with the cleanness and location of the property. We were greeted with a friendly smiles and a willingness to accommodate our every need. We mentioned it was our 35th wedding anniversary and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. When we got to our room there were two little bottles of champagne and a note wishing us a happy 35th anniversary. The beds were comfortable and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was wonderful. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay at Spark by Hilton during all our future visits.
