Hampton Inn & Suites Chincoteague-Waterfront

Exceptional staff - helpful and friendly. Lovely natural views from waterfront rooms and suites (stayed in both) and comfortable beds - all rooms have been extremely clean. Full breakfast, tasty coffee ( all day) and a great location!! What more could you want. We love staying here and look forward to our next stay! (in every season)

We stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Chincoteague–Waterfront for two nights for a short weekend getaway to visit Assateague Island and see the wild ponies. It was a great experience. The front desk staff were very kind, welcoming, and informative. Visiting on a weekend was perfect since all the shops and restaurants on the island were open. We booked a waterfront whirlpool room, which was spacious, clean, and had an amazing balcony view. We didn’t use the pool, but we did enjoy the breakfast. After visiting the ponies, there was plenty nearby to walk around and explore. There’s also a dollar store conveniently located on the way to the National Seashore. We travel a lot and I can truly say how wonderful this Hampton inn is. I know that they are currently rated the 2nd best in the Hampton Inn brand, but seriously, what do you have to do to be #1. The location is ideal. The breakfast is great which includes a couple of waffle flavors. Hot breakfast and the staff makes sure everything is clean and everyone has plenty. You can have breakfast outside viewing the bay! The whole place and the rooms were clean and fresh.

Room was clean and modern. Helpful and pleasant staff. Breakfast was as expected hot foods were hot and fresh. Eating area and food stations were clean. Out back is a dock.
