Sea Shell Motel

Very nice. Room is immaculate, beds are very comfortable. Kitchenette stocked well with everything you could need...just bring your food and drinks. Grounds well maintained with nice plants along the patio. Quiet location yet still close to everything. Overall, a really wonderful place to stay.

We love Sea Shell. It has a decidedly vintage feel but the rooms comfortable and very clean. I like the ‘step back in time’ vibe of it, and the staff has always been very friendly and do a great job. Great location to walk to the farmers market or restaurants on that side of town, plenty of easy parking by rooms.

My husband and I had a delightful experience at the seashell motel. The room was wonderful with a small kitchen efficiency. They brought fresh towels every morning, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I also left my glasses there when we drove home, and they kindly shipped them to me without charging us.

What a terrific place to stay! Our room was super clean, well appointed, and quiet.|Stove top, mini fridge, micro wave, cups, glasses, plates, and utensils made it easy and convenient to prepare some of our own meals. We especially liked kthe drip-filter coffee maker so we could brew our own coffee we got from one of the local roasters. (You can't do that with the pod-type cup at a time coffee makers often found elsewhere. The owners were on the premises each day of our stay; the staff were friendly and took obvious pride in their work. Great quality for a great value. We hope to come back soon!

It is clear that recent renovations have been made. The rooms are now even nicer than we remembered. The housekeeping staff was very attentive. Due to a recent storm, the igniters on the grills did not want to work, but management provided an extended lighter that enabled us to do all of our grilling. The pool was beautiful, but we were surprised on the first couple of days that the weather had gotten quite cool, so we had to wait to use it. We really hope we can come back again soon.
