Staybridge Suites Springfield-South by IHG

Positive: Location Negative: Our room was old and dirty, The mattress was awful and the pillow was as thin as paper. The toilet did not work. The hallways smelled of marijuana. They allowed dogs and cats to stay. The staff was so lazy. Most of the time they were outside smoking.

Horrible hotel all around. Dirty rooms. Can see hallway through room door, almost like the door was kicked in. Outside doors don't lock. Don't expect breakfast, sat for an hour for the man to refill items that were out. All he did was get eggs and 4 biscuits. Took a break while guests sat there with nothing to eat. Windows in room don't shut or lock. The self pour beverages did not work. Pool area was nasty dirty. All staff there have no clue what is going on. Will never stay here again and definitely do not recommend. The only good thing was that it was quiet and the location.

We enjoy staying at Staybridge hotels, and I was a little concerned, the lady (forgot her name) didn’t seem very welcoming. Our room was very comfortable, but the fridge had some mold around the seal and the latch to the door didn’t seal.|On a positive note, the social hour was great. Hostess Amy was very friendly. On our 2nd night, she made sure that there would be snacks for my hubby who has Celiac disease. And as always, breakfast was delicious.|All in all a good stay!

The room was spacious and comfortable. The check-in staff was very friendly and efficient, and we enjoyed the breakfast. There were some minor maintenance issues. We really enjoyed this location.

Walked in told them my name and automatically was given the diamond elite status. They sure know how to take care of people. Breakfast was great pool is heated which is awesome in the fall/winter time. Next time I’m in Springfield this is where I’m staying
