Comfort Inn & Suites Springfield I-55

We got a king suite for a great price. The room was really nice and had a kitchenette plus a nice separate kind of TV lounge area where the hide-a-bed sofa was. Plus a nice balcony. We stayed 2 nights for a great price and it's really close to basically everything, like less than 10 minutes from essentially anywhere you'd want to go. And the front desk staff were super friendly at check-in and check-out.

Great place to stay. Loved the suite design of the room. Room was very clean. Beds were very comfortable; pillows were great! Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was good. The only bad thing I can say is that the hot tub was out of commission at the time of our stay. We were on a long road trip, and I was looking forward to the hot tub, but that was not to be. Otherwise everything else was perfect.

They let me in early after having difficulties with another hotel that I was not happy at. I was there for a funeral they're very caring and gave me a great price at that time. Awesome breakfast and great people nice hotel.

Overall, the hotel was ok. Beds were comfortable. We did have a handful of stink bugs in our room in February. I heard other guests mention the same thing at breakfast. The breakfast tasted good and plenty of options, but breakfast area is very small and not enough seating.

The shower didn’t work, literally dribbled out so now I have to drive 4 hours home with nasty hair from the pool. If you wanted to give your kids a bath it would probably take 30 plus minutes to fill the tub. The pool/hot tub is very dated. Lots of rust and clearly lacking proper ventilation for an indoor pool. Also the water looked not great, but my assumption was there were so many kids swimming from New Years that it wasn’t keeping up…either way the chemical levels were definitely off. The room itself was comfortable and served its purpose. There was a mini fridge/freezer and two tvs. The two front desk people we encountered were very nice as well.
