Staybridge Suites Portland - Airport

This hotel was generally fine but I came here to sleep and the mattress was abysmal. It sloped towards the middle like a trough so all night long my husband and I rolled into each other and woke up. When I mentioned it to him in the morning he said that, during the night, he’d wondered if we had mistakenly been given a double bed instead of queen. (I am writing this in the room and my husband just commented from the bathroom that the shampoo dispenser in the shower is completely empty.) I recommend finding another place.

Front desk staff were kind and welcoming. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was great the first day. I was annoyed that I had booked a flight back home too early to get breakfast the second morning, however, they had that covered! They gave us a "to go" bag with a juice, bagel, cream cheese and yogurt! The shuttle was clean and the driver was pleasant as well. I am a self proclaimed hotel snob, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Staying for the week and so far the room is super clean. More like a tiny apartment and it is well stocked with a full size fridge, microwave and a burner stove. They have great TV channels with good WiFi and in room service. Free breakfast from 630-930 every morning. Seems like they have free dinner and drinks a few nights a week too. Definitely a good choice for an extended stay.

FYI, I was only visiting friends who were staying here. This place is currently under construction so there's some storage units taking up some of the parking and some things (fixtures, painting, etc) inside are not finished. With that said, the remodeled room my friends were in in was lovely. Had a living room/kitchen combo with a separate room with bed and bathroom. Huge TV. Large fridge. I'd stay here if I didn't live in the area. I also hear there's a nice breakfast!

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Huge clean rooms with a great little kitchen. Amazing amenities including free huge breakfast every day and even free drinks and dinner several nights a week. Every staff member we encountered went out of their way to be kind and helpful. Definitely would recommend and stay again!
