Staybridge Suites Las Colinas

Overall we were very pleased with our stay. Two things to note, as it seems they’re transitioning from buying the building from another hotel company that didn’t seem to keep up with the property very well: 1) In our room, the bathroom door had experienced some very heavy water damage and it made the door difficult to open. There were also ants near the sink in the kitchen area. 2) The breakfast had pretty decent options and a nice variety (cereal, yogurt, tacos, muffins and bagels, juices to drink), but the eggs were questionable. Also, for the waffles there were great, but the waffle maker didn’t have visible instructions that the iron needed to be flipped. Other than that, the bed was comfy, sheets and pillows were plentiful, and it was fairly quiet. Location didn’t seem to have any

Positive: One employee, went above and beyond to assist, help and tend to any questions or concerns we had. I was extremely impressed and cannot say enough good things about him. Thank you very much and keep up the great work!! Negative: Everything was perfect

I haven’t read people’s reviews but I’m sure they’re just complainers. I am by no means super high maintenance but I am also certainly not low maintenance. I need things to be working right. I have been here for over a year and this place is a well oiled machine. Management is top notch and really want this place to do well as they are mid transitioning from sonesta to staybridge suites. They have people in here daily fixing and making sure everything is running smoothly. Now I can’t speak for every room, if water pressure is working and things like tv is working properly and other little things like if bugs are in rooms, I stay on a top floor and never had bugs, etc. Housekeeping is very good and works very hard. Only stay at hotel for near access to airport via the metro

This is NOT a brand new hotel. It may be new to the IHG family or under new management but again it is NOT newly built. The stock photos are a great indication of the deception. The outside is beautiful but the inside is old and outdated! However, it was clean.
