Springwood Hotel

We booked this room through Expedia. We showed up on a Friday night and the office was totally dark and closed. The hotel itself looked abandoned and there were only a few drug addict people walking around. We had our children and did not feel safe staying there. They refused to give my money back and lied about the state of the hotel saying that they are always full on game weekends (which is a blatant lie). There were only 2 cars in the parking lot total. This is one of the worst hotels and staff I have ever seen. All I wanted was my money back due to us not being able to stay there due to safety and they refuse. Do not stay here! It is not safe!

Positive: They had availability on a busy college football weekend. Price was affordable. Negative: not very clean (esp. tv, bathtub, floor, fridge, toilet, and linens); the A/C did not work well. The tv gave error messages until my husband worked on it for a while to get it to work. the manager was as nice as he could be. bat fan made horrible racket

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in America. I barely slept and left asap. I slept in my clothes and later washed those clothes and everything else that I brought into the room. Since there was a big game in town I paid $150. Place needs to be tore down. Any positive reviews must be fake by the way. Expedia should be ashamed . The owner/manager was nice though.

My daughter had a reservation for this hotel on Oct 11-12, 2025, upon arrival to check in a gentleman sitting in the lobby proceeded to follow her out to my car and continued to bother her and tell her where her room was. Then followed her back into the hotel. She left because she is a young female and this was concerning to her and her safety as this guy did not work there. She informed management that she would not be staying due to this and fear of her safety. They apologized and informed her to contact booking.com for a possible refund. This was beyond scary and concerning.

great price and near a decent amount of restaurants and gas stations. My first time staying their was great, second time my room had bed bugs. had to get a room down the street the next day at red carpet because the bed bugs was so bad. Probably won't be back.
