Best Western Auburn/Opelika Inn

We stayed at this older hotel for a one-night stay. Overall, it appears to be fairly well updated and reasonably well maintained. The common areas and lobby looked nice, and the room itself was a good size and refreshed. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. However, housekeeping missed a couple of things. When we went into the bathroom, there was no toilet paper stocked at all, and the edge of the toilet seat had clearly not been cleaned, which was disappointing.||The breakfast was above average. They offered fresh fruit, yogurt with a nice selection of toppings, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and waffle maker. The dining area was continuously cleaned, and the food was replenished regularly by a cheerful attendant.||We would stay here again due to good location and overall good value.

Disregard the bad reviews. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with this. Hotel. The man at the front desk was just as nice as he could be even offered to help me and my husband carry our stuff to the room and I’ve attached pictures. The room was clean. I mean it for the price it’s as nice as it can be and I stay at over 200 hotels a year. The bed is cozy, has a frig & microwave. Safe & plenty of parking ! I’ll def come back.

Positive: The replacement room they put me in after the other one should have been condemned. Negative: BEDBUGS BEDBUGS BEDBUGS!!

Family was in EAMC hospital and this was close by. Did a late check-in with no issues. The room we had was beside the entrance/stairwell on side of building....so allot of noise late into the morning.....luckily feel asleep and was good. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms are a lil tight fit....but serves the purpose.

The night time front desk clerk was AMAZING! He made me want to stay he was so happy and friendly. However the place needs some tender loving care including room upgrades. I was more upset that I had to clean the bathroom floor. I almost feel I twisted my ankle a little because there was water on the floor. I used a towel to dry up the water and the floor was filthy. I then wondered how clean the bed actually was.
