SpringHill Suites by Marriott Orangeburg

The rooms were emaculant and the staff was warm and friendly. Also the breakfast was the best we've had at any hotel we've stayed at and the breakfast staff was very nice ,friendly and helpful. Food was fresh and hot and she made sure everything was stocked from the waffle batter to the coffee lids and condiments..We were really impressed by her hospitality. We wish we could give you all 10 stars 🌟 Well done SPRINGHILL SUITES WELL DONE !!

One of the least Marriott standards I have experienced. Housekeeping doesn't even know how to make up a bed - bed spread not evenly placed, sheets wrinkled, bed skirt caught up under mattress, mattress pulled away from the headboard. Drawers were left open. Baseboard not being vacuumed. Bathroom wallpaper torn and with paint and caulk stains. Shower mold and mildew. Shower never got hot - just luke warm. Noisy room to room. Evening check-in personnel rude. Morning check-out personnel today was nice. Breakfast was scarce. Lots of food running out with long waits for replenishing. Hot food not hot. Dirty food area. This Bonvoy member absolutely not impressed.

THEY HAVE COCKROACHES!!!!!! Room was clean. (SO I THOUGHT) Service was good. Location good. My husband and I were traveling from Palm Coast, Florida and drove about 3 in a half hours north. My husband and I called this specific hotel and they had ONE room left. We got there pretty late, around 1030pm. We slept the entire night, got a shower, and headed down for breakfast around 9am. Well, to our surprise we went to get the complimentary breakfast and right in plain sight was a COCKROACH. I immediately threw whatever food/drink I had away and my husband went STRAIGHT to the front desk manager. We showed multiple workers and the food attendant just grabbed a papertowel and picked it up and said, "Oh, you're good now." We're good now? WHAT? I ran out of that place. Positive: It was very clean! It was a great room for a family of 4 (with two young ones). They slept on the pullout bed while we slept in the beds. Oh and the breakfast!! It was fantastic! I was especially grateful for the gluten/dairy free options. Negative: ""

The overnight person was so nice and so was the breakfast lady. The room was spotless and very nice. I will go out of my way in future travels if I have to just to stay there. Everyone who works there deserves a raise.
