Hampton Inn & Suites Orangeburg

From the moment we walked in and were greeted by Azzela we felt welcomed and cared for. She has a beautiful personality and was so friendly. She answered our questions about places to eat in the area and always had a smile whenever we saw her. The room was clean and everything was in working order. Everyone we interacted with was professional and friendly. The breakfast had a good selection of items. The breakfast area was kept well stocked and was very clean. The breakfast hostess was also very friendly. The professionalism and friendliness of the staff far outshone many of the places we have stayed at in the past. I would definitely return to this hotel if I was in the area.

Nice room, because of my husband's Hilton status, we were upgraded to suite. Very clean, friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast was typical of most free hotel breakfast but there were plenty of options.

Best place to stay in Orangeburg. To start, when I entered within 10 seconds I had 2 greetings with a smile from the man at the front desk and a woman/employee walking through entrance area. They checked us in early as they did already have a clean room. He asked my preferences. Later when walking through the lobby he ask if the room was acceptable. This place has very friendly and professional staff. The lady on our floor cleaning the rooms smiled with a hello. What a well run hotel. The room was very clean and well kept. Looked just like their photos. I looked and couldn't really find much wear, so the hotel is in very good condition. I know it has been here for a few years as we used to stay at other places nearby, that are definitely not as nice as this place. Hampton h

First, a shout-out to Sylvia, the night manager. I was up early, before breakfast, and she could not have been a more helpful person. She went 'above and beyond' for me and is definitely a great asset to this hotel. The room was clean. The bed was fantastic with a fairly plush, somewhat pillow top. My wife and I rarely agree on beds, but we both agreed that this one was really good. Much better than the standard Hampton bed. Breakfast was as complete as you could expect in a hotel with hot and cold items. Every staff person we came into contact with was kind and professional. After a long day of driving, we would prefer a short walk to a dinner restaurant. There is a Ruby Tuesday (that was only fair) within a 5-minute walk.
