Fairfield Inn Orangeburg

Large room was bigger than other Marriott owned hotels we have stay at. Very clean. Breakfast area was under renovations so wasnt the normal full spread and was crammed into the gym area. Woukd give a 5 star if wasnt for that. Staff was great! Easy access to restaurants.

We stay there for a couple weeks on a project. The rooms were very clean and the place was also very quiet. There is a plethora of restaurants close by.And a few within walking distance as well. The front desk is very helpful.Especially tina turner. She was so very friendly every morning.Asking how we were. The lady in charge of the breakfast room was wonderful as well. They had a wide variety of items for breakfast

I mean............driving all over and having to stay the night where you are safe, comfortable, clean and cared for @ low cost is important though difficult. Its a little outdated, yes the numbers on the door are printed on paper, its weird, /idk. But staff were kind, it was quiet, the shower was hot/good pressure and the bed was super comfortable. Decent breakfast, I do like starting my day brewing coffee in my room, coffee filter had about an inch thick mildew so that was a nope for me (but room did not have an odor, I am a bloodhound too) I would stay again if travelling through the area for one night

I would love to give a review about our stay but we never got to stay there! After making a reservation for a room seven months in advance (for a stay on Jan 1-2, 2026), we received a call in mid afternoon that day that our reservation was cancelled due to a lack of staff and clean rooms. After 11 hours on the road driving from Michigan we were an hour from the hotel and looking forward to a restful nights sleep.||The only alternatives we were offered was 2 other hotels at that exit that had rooms for 3 times the costs of the reservations we had. We stopped at the nearest rest area and after numerous calls we were able to find a room 2 1/2 hours further along our route.||Very disappointed with Fairfield (I am a Marriott bonvoy member) and will not be staying with them in the future. The staff here are an absolute delight. Everyone I interacted with was great. There was a problem with the tv in my room and they promptly moved me to another. Breakfast was yummy, I was a little late and they waited for me to get what I wanted. Excellent value and service for a quick overnight on a long drive.
