SpringHill Suites by Marriott Modesto

The location is great because the street is quiet but it’s also close to Highway 99. Housekeeping did well cleaning the room, but did not restock the decaf coffees that I drank. There are two EV ChargePoint cables and two parking spots, but one night a single electric car was parked using both spots and the second night a petrol car in one of the EV spots. I was able to charge my EV and the power was 6.6 kW, fine for an overnight charge. I would stay here again.

Positive: Rooms had lots of room and the breakfast was good. Negative: The area was a bit sketchy but we had no problems.

I believe the girl at the front desk was Victoria, and she was so nice! We arrived around 9pm, and she got us checked in quickly. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again if in the area!

Spacious, clean, and well laid out rooms with plenty of space to relax or get some work done. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was included and had a good variety to start the day.

The mold smell in the hallways and rooms is too much. I get there is a pool here and kids don't dry off 100%, so there is going to be some smell, but it's worse than the Great Wolf Lodge (they're a water park so its more excusable). The time has come to clean the carpets. Front counter was great, the included breakfast was exactly what I needed it to be (something good to eat before heading off to baseball).
