Plus sides: I called the hotel a couple of times and everyone was helpful. The highlight of our stay was Kym. We arrived after all day of flights and driving and we arrived late at night. Kym was friendly, helpful and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable for our stay. Breakfast was convenient and a treat. This best western was a good location as we visited family in the area. Its close to the mall, coffee shops and restaurants. Bed were comfortable and showers were nice and hot. Grounds were dated but quaint, cared for. House keeping staff were friendly and efficient. Quiet at night though I had some trouble with the a/c heater. We were in a pet friendly room which was quite small,but the room was clean and comfortable. We were moving across the country so we are hauling a good amount of stuff for ourselves and our dog, and it was difficult to even fit out belongings inside (this was not an issue at any of the other places we stayed at.|However, we were told we received the last pet-friendly room and I appreciate that we were able to get it, as I really don’t like most of the other hotel chains in this price range.||There were a lot of people socializing right outside our room in the evening, drinking and talking loudly. Terrible experience. They were doing a full renovation in the lobby. Only one working ice machine. Pool was a mess. Hot tub jets didn’t work and I think it was strictly sun heated. Advertised breakfast. No breakfast. Expedia should do a better job of assuring what they post is actually what’s there.

the service that I got to help me look for booking in Modesto was great after a long drive from San Jose I got to the hotel needed to use the restroom and the lady at the counter was very rude . my mother who is 92 needed insulin she did not allow me to use the restroom and actually ran in front of me and locked the door
