Residence Inn by Marriott Modesto North

my family and i flew in from texas and stayed here a week. we had the room with the kitchenete. the rooms were very clean and the rate is afordable. all the staff were very friendly and never had to worry about anything. the breakfast was okay. but i love the fact that it was always freash and hot! very good coffee as well. we spent some time at the gym and the gym was a great feature as well. overall would definitely come back to this hotel!

Stayed here on our way to Sacramento. Everything was good. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was decent though not a lot of choices. Gym is small and simple. Overall I enjoyed out stay.

I asked the young female front desk agent to put me in a room that was away from road noise and that was quiet. She said the room was in the “perfect spot and is away from noise”. That was definitely not the case! My room was awful because of this, if I didn’t unpack all of my things for the week I would’ve asked to move rooms but it was too late. The management definitely needs to educate their staff when guest ask for this request. The noise from the road was awful, also I absolutely hated that the air would not kick on unless it was at the temperature, at other properties I’m able to use the fan setting as a way to drown out the noise but I wasn’t able to do this at this property. I have stayed on this property for that past few months for business. One of the nicest and well maintained hotels I have stayed at. The staff is very accommodating and polite. Amenities are above average with a nice outdoor pool and hot-tube, and well equipped fitness center, ample parking, and the standard snacks for purchase. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows are very nice. Large flat screen HD tv with many channels and free access to some movie channels, and can also access a few of your own subscriptions services easily through the tv. Very much enjoy staying here. Hotel is just a few years old. And very well maintained and very clean.

This was my first stay at this property. My room was very comfortable and clean. The only complaint I would have is the parking lot lights were very bright and shown in my room, making it difficult for me to sleep. Staff went above and beyond for me. On my second day, I broke my ankle. They brought me a large bag of ice so I could pack it to reduce the swelling. They served a nice breakfast in the morning.
