SpringHill Suites by Marriott Charlotte City Center

I recently stayed here last week, and it was an amazing experience. The room was very spacious and included two queen beds, a trundle, one bathroom, a desk, a mini fridge, and microwave. Our room was on the fifteenth floor, so we had a nice view with a gigantic view, and we were pretty close to the elevators and ice machines. I will say it does get pretty loud at night given its location, but they give ear plugs and a Spotify playlist link and also offer sleep noise machines at the front desk. Their complimentary breakfast was very good, but they sadly did not have bacon and only offered a waffle maker on the last day. However, I may just be being picky though. Josh and Dave with parking were so amazing. Marriott couldn't have two better guys here! They were so professional so kind and just went above and beyond!! They absolutely deserve a raise! The other two fellas that was out there were nice as well but my most interactions were with Josh and Dave. The front desk staff also was very professional and kind and also went above and beyond! I don't remember the young lady's name that was there my first night, but she is so personable and welcoming

The location was nice and was right next to an (expensive but convenient) parking garage. The room was nice. Some construction was going on nearby and I noticed the room had foam ear plugs next to the bed. I’m a light sleeper and did wake up once but was able to get back to sleep. The breakfast was ok. The service left something to be desired. We asked for our room to be cleaned and they did, except for the shower. The body soap was empty and towels were left in the shower. I asked again for the bathroom to be cleaned and a surly receptionist took down my room number. The cleaning folks did not come by. From my perspective, that was unacceptable. I will be looking for other Charlotte hotels in the future.

Several of my family members stayed at the SpringHill Suites in Charlotte… we couldn’t have been happier with the service at the front desk; we were welcomed with the friendliest gentleman named Robbie; we were allowed to check in early as our rooms were ready!!! He gave us a great suggestion for breakfast and was so helpful throughout the weekend. The other staff members were great too! Breakfast was great; so many choices and delicious! Rooms were clean with plenty of space. When it was time to check out, we had several hours before our flight and front desk staff held our bags with no issues. I would stay here in a heartbeat again!

SpringHill Suites – A Stay I Won’t Soon Forget (But Wish I Could) The Good To give credit where credit is due, the room itself was slightly larger than a standard hotel room, which made it feel less cramped than typical mid-tier chains. Additionally, the space was clean, and that initial impression did set the stage for what could have been a decent stay. Unfortunately… that’s where the good times ended. Needs Improvement SpringHill Suites seems to have embraced a “minimal involvement” housekeeping philosophy. Room cleaning is allegedly scheduled every other day, yet on the one day it was supposed to happen, no one ever showed up. The result? • Lack of towels and wash cloths • Empty body wash and conditioner dispensers • Loose outlets that couldn’t hold a phone charger These aren’t ti
