SpringHill Suites by Marriott Billings

The room was nice, the floor could have been cleaner. I booked two rooms using reward points for the stay to attend a funeral. At the end of the sta, I receive a folio of zero charges to room since nothing is charged to the rooms. Following the week I’ve noticed a charge on each room. I reached out to the hotel and was advised that Mr. Asad Khan (hotel manager) would handle it. I never heard from him. I made several phone calls to the Springhill suites left voice messages, per Mr Khan voicemail sent emails - and he would never respond. File a complaint with Marriott resolutions who asked to have more time while they reached out to Mr. Asad Khan, who would not respond to Marriott resolutions department. I had to file a Dispute claim with my bank, and resolution department refunded my points

Overall we are very pleased with Bonvoy and loyal to the brand. This hotel however was terrible. The room was dirty--my white socks were black. There was mold behind the tissue box and tissues were wet and shower floor corners were black. No sink soap or coffee in the room. Toilet seat was broken so slipped side to side (fall risk). Closet door wouldn't close. Front desk didn't offer water, though they do have it available for guests. Manager was defensive, though mellowed a bit by checkout. We could have changed rooms but wanted to avoid the hassle, and the whole hotel seems neglected so had no faith in any rooms being acceptable.

Positive: I thought staff was extremely helpful and friendly Negative: It's dated... lighting was poor. I don't like a room where heat/air conditioning blows directly from wall across bed I'm sleeping in

I come through billings a lot for work. I tried a couple other places in town until I found this hotel and haven’t thought about going anywhere else since. The rooms are always very clean and the AC is always on upon arrival - just how I like it. I’ve never heard any of the other occupants during my stay. The beds are actually comfortable which is rare for a hotel. The hot tub and pool are clean and the perfect temperature. The snack bar has a lot of options. Texas Roadhouse is in the same parking lot and you get a small discount if you show them your room card - LOVE THAT for me. All of the staff especially the manager have always been very friendly and understanding. I stay at a lot of hotels, it’s rare that ALL of the boxes get checked, I’ll always stay here when I’m in Billings.

TRAVELER BEWARE My family lost our home in a house fire. After staying here for 3 days the staff told my family we could no longer stay, and would have to leave the next day since they don’t want “locals” staying here. A true business that kicks you while you’re down. Their ideals and values are not somewhere worth spending your money. Staff and manager were aware that my family were just displaced due to the house burning down.
