Northern Hotel

Beautiful room! The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The service was amazing and we had highly positive experiences with all staff. It felt good and safe on the entire property including the parking garage. Breakfast at Bernie’s was a wonderful treat and might become our new favorite breakfast spot since Sassy Biscuit is now gone. Attended an event in the ballroom. All staff were kind and professional. Food was served hot and presented artistically. Everything was very clean and well organized. Highly recommend for your next event or romantic getaway!

BEWARE; hotel at check out applied a $ 5 charge randomly. I queried it and they reversed it. A month later they sneakily charged my credit card AGAIN for the $ 5.|And now my credit card company wont refund me. Ok, it's only $ 5, but who knows how much it could be with another client.|That kind of behaviour is dishonest. Be really careful with your credit card here.||That aside, the hotel is not bad. The breakfast room is a separate company. A diner that does not serve espressos - you have to walk two blocks for that. The neighbourhood is ok, central, but not a lot going on and not attractive. It's a convenient base more than anything else. ||If you do stay here maybe best to pay cash and do not leave your credit card details !

Our stay at the Northern was perfect! We were cared for by the staff so well. We had an issue with our room and asked to be moved and they did so without a hesitation. They even upgraded our room! The road noise at night was pretty loud, but that can’t be changed by the hotel.

I was with a group celebrating a 75th birthday of a friend. I wish there more stars to rate this most amazing experience!!! From the greeting to the end the customer service was stellar. The Chef, Parker, came out and shared features and set an expectation of what to expect. We had two amazing servers, Sean and Kari, who went above any service I have experienced in my many travels!!! We started with amazing appetizers and drinks, then each of us had a dinner that left each person raving over how wonderful it was. Finished this great evening with the most phenomenal chocolate cake. With each persons enthusiasm the only negative is that the evening had to end. Thank you TEN and staff for making my friends birthday EXTRA SPECIAL!!!!!
