SpringHill Suites by Marriott Alexandria Old Town/Southwest

I had a wonderful stay at SpringHill Suites Old Town Alexandria, but what happened after I checked out is what truly impressed me. I accidentally left my MacBook charger in my room, and from the moment I reached out, the team responded immediately. Danny was absolutely incredible — his responses were quick, professional, and genuinely kind. He went out of his way to personally drop my charger off at UPS on his way home from work. That level of care and initiative is rare and speaks volumes about the culture of this hotel. The entire experience was seamless, stress-free, and handled with such warmth. It’s one thing to have a comfortable stay — it’s another to feel truly taken care of even after you’ve left. Outstanding customer service. I will absolutely stay here again and highly recomm

This hotel is in the middle of NOWHERE. Why they use Old Town Alexandria in the address is because no one else would stay here if they didn’t. I got here later in the evening and I asked how long it would take to take an Uber into Old Town and I was told at least 10 minutes. I asked how far DCA airport was and she said it was at least 20 minutes, but possibly more depending upon traffic. ||Do not stay here thinking you’re close to Old Town Alexandria because you absolutely are not. They should not be allowed to use Old Town to describe this location. Maybe if you had a car and you wanted to drive everywhere and you didn’t mind staying in the middle of nowhere it would be a via option. The cost for the hotel in the middle of nowhere is ridiculous. ||I’m a Marriott member. I stay at Marriott

Positive: Cleanness, Erin, Sawntrell, Danny Negative: Harassment, abuse and smoking concerns. Lack of General Manager to address my concerns. Lack knowing who stay, visit, or torment the hotel guest.

The rooms have updated furniture but the heating cooling system is very old. The shower has no pressure. Internet connection is fast and free. Parking is 15$ per day. The beds are comfortable. The windows open up but one side of the hotel faces a train yard and the air is dirty and it's also by the highway.

Positive: - nicer than average rooms. - Separate toilet from shower. - good pull out sofa bed negatives: - charges for parking - charges for Tesla Charging. Should have been transparent about this. Price aas not reasonable. I would just went to a standard Telsa service station for a quick charge which is free for me - dfficult to sleep, woke up middle if night due to noisy room by the elector. The noise was from the hallway air vents. Should have known as we found free earplugs by the bed. - Difficult to find Frankly, would not book again here
