SpringHill Suites by Marriott Alexandria

We had a very pleasant stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and satisfactory for our needs. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We experienced one minor incident which was resolved to my complete satisfaction. The location is very easy to access off the Beltway and close to Old Town Alexandria (which I highly recommend visiting.) If you are a light sleeper, I would advise requesting a room on the south-facing side of the property as the traffic noise from Highway 1 is somewhat loud and constant. Overall a very nice stay and I'm happy to recommend this property.

Tired hotel that charged $10 for parking in an unsecured lot. The location was fine. The rooms where clean but worn. The AC/Heater unit was loud and either to hot or to cold. There are a few other options near by. I will not stay here again

Positive: The location Negative: The hotel is showing its age. The room was never cleaned. The pool was down the whole time and the staff was awful. I stayed here 18 years ago when it first opened... this was completely different.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was very clean, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-kept — perfect for a family. The free breakfast was a great way to start the day, and the complimentary laundry facilities were such a lifesaver while traveling with kiddos! The pool area was also really nice and relaxing. Did I mention the 12pm checkout time🙌 The only downside was that the hot tub wasn’t working during our stay, but everything else more than made up for it. The location was ideal — close to stores, plenty of restaurants, and just a short drive into D.C. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for two nights. The room was not clean and the sink was clogged. There was also a lot of noise, making it hard to rest. The phone in the room didn’t work, and even after reporting the issues to the front desk, nothing was repaired. The room was not cleaned during our stay. Staff said they clean rooms every other day and that this policy is stated on the website, but it was not clearly explained to us when we checked in. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
