Spring Creek Inn

Nichole is a wonderful hostess and maybe most important to me as a very experienced traveler is she is very open to suggestions! This makes the visitor experience better! The location is central to the Black Hills! A small town; 872 people! But all the necessary amenities! The rooms are clean not fancy but perfect for the visit to the Black Hills. Parking right in front of your room. No stairs to climb. A really good value! Will definitely be on the top of my list for future visits! The Black Hills have many hiking trails of different difficulties. Get a list from the Visitor Center at the entrance to Hill City. Of course close to my Fav place Sylvan Lake and Custer State Park.

We had the most wonderful stay at Spring Creek Inn . Our place was cozy, immaculately clean, and had the rustic feel we were hoping for. The beds were super comfortable, and we loved sipping coffee on the back porch while watching deer wander by. The location was very peaceful and we were still only just a short drive from local attractions. The owners were super nice and welcoming and clearly take pride in their property. We will definitely be back!".

We always stayed at Spring Creek Inn when we were in the Black Hills. Always clean. Not now. We walked into our cabin to over flowing trash, dirty floors and unmade beds. When I addressed it with Nicole her response was that it was an oversight. Nicole had to go into the cabin to leave our keys on the table. She could not have missed the filth on the cabin unless she had on blinders. Long story short she told us that we would be happier staying elsewhere. We did. I will NEVER return and as I said this was our go to place for years. A true failure in customer service.

A relief from the anonymous highway motels. Charming setting, comfortable rooms, responsive owner-operator and dog-friendly. We're on a cross-country trip and this is in our top 3 stays.

Convenient location just out of town. Friendly staff. Clean Room; nothing fancy, just a comfortable place to spend a night in our travels for a reasonable room rate. Picnic tables were convenient for our evening meal outside. Just off the highway, but the room was pretty quiet through the night. We'd stay here again when we're in the area.
