the hotel staff are incredibly friendly and efficient; the room amenities were nicely done, spacious, and the rooms were very comfortable; the sleep quality was excellent, and the mattresses felt like sleeping at home. The location is within walking distance of restaurants. The price is great. And the rooms are always clean. But my best is the pillows so comfortable.

Positive: it was clean and the location was good. Overall I felt it was a good value Negative: It's not that I didn't "like" this, but i don't understand why this is rated as a "3-star" hotel. It's a well done renovation of a former hotel chain (excellent job!) It met my most important criteria, cleanliness and value.

The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because they don't have a microwave in the rooms, which was terrible for me with a young child who drinks milk all the time. I spent 3 nights there, and every morning my child woke up crying and saying, "I don't want to be in this hotel, I want to go to another one," and when I asked him why, he said, "Because it doesn't have a microwave." Aside from this, the hotel is nice and clean, the rooms are pretty, and the beds are comfortable, and best of all, they clean and restock your room daily, which was great. I think if they put microwaves in their rooms, they would be providing a better and more pleasant service. Don't forget that we travel as a family and there are always children; please keep that in mind. My 5-year-old was so traumatized that he told

First time staying at a Spark hotel and won’t be our last! The hotel was clean and inviting with multiple hangout spaces for people of all ages. Coffee, tea bags, and hot water were available 24 hours with a simple continental breakfast provided each morning. Microwave and fridge were in the room. Our kids enjoyed the indoor swimming pool. ||The staff were great, and were happy to accommodate anything we needed from extra towels, blanket for the pull out couch, and even complimentary water bottles for the room upon our arrival and for the road when we checked out. We stayed three nights and both clerks were helpful, but I only got the name of one. Robin was friendly and made sure we felt welcomed!

Great hotel. CLEAN! The staff is super kind, super helpful, and they go above and beyond to accommodate anything, within reason of course. I can't say enough how much I love this hotel. We come into town 2x a month and I always book here, except during Louder than Life, I waited too long to book that weekend.
