Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Louisville Shepherdsville

Excellent hotel experience! We were easily able to check in online and got a lovely room with two queen sized beds for our traveling family of 4. Breakfast was included with the stay and had a nice selection to choose from. Front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is nice, new, etc. Would've been a good review except for this customer service fail. (TLDR: they turned a minor incident into a unprofessional and rude mess.)|-The morning after our stay, I realized we left my son's (expensive) shoes behind. That's definitely on us, but of course I called to see if they'd been found.|-After being told by the front desk that housekeeping would look into it, I received a voicemail saying, yes, the shoes were found.|-I called back and confirmed they had the shoes. The lady I spoke with informed me usually items are sent back via UPS and I would have to pay the charges, which I agreed to (after also offering to drive back to pick them up myself). She confirmed my address and phone number and told me she'd call if they needed anything else.|-I waited

Positive: Very friendly staff, gym and pool nice. Shower was nice/walk in. Tv options good (streaming services available) Negative: Room a little small. Towels and bed linens weren't changed daily, just bed made and dirty towels refolded

I would definitely stay here again. I had a Suite on the 4th floor (top) floor. The room was spacious, modern, and clean with 2 TVs. The hotel itself seemed modern and clean. I was able to adjust the thermostat how I wanted which I wasn't able to do at a different Fairfield Inn which I stayed at the night before. If you need to eat and the breakfast buffet isn't open, it's an easy walk to Cracker Barrel or Burger King across the street.

This is the best Fairfield I have been to. It was actually renovated when usually they are a little outdated. There was also free breakfast. The two ladies working the night shift on 11/21 were so sweet and also the desk person working the morning shift on 11/22!! Also walking distance to Cracker Barrel, Subway, etc. recommend!
