Spark by Hilton Murfreesboro

Stayed here 2 days when my house flooded. My room had no body wash but I was able to get it easy enough at the front desk. 2 different shifts both had nice women at the front desk. They were helpful. Cleaning lady was also nice and helpful. The gym was 1 treadmill and one elyptical What a massive cardboard box. Not a gym. The pool(s) indoor but empty. Rooms were ok. Nothing special but nothing horrible. I'd stay again if I had to. 24 7 coffee was decent and convenient.

Unfortunately, I did not check trip advisor reviews before my stay. I paid $196 for 1 night. The room smelled like a locker room. I went to wash my hands and there was no hand soap. I asked the front desk for soap and he apologized that the hotel had been out. He recommended I use the body wash attached to the wall in the shower. I had already done this but it was a stretch. When I pulled the comforter back for bed there was no top sheet. I know some hotels are now using duvet covers instead of sheets but there was no duvet. I knew the comforters would not be washed daily. The front desk employee was nice and got me a set of clean sheets. Sleeping in was also not an option because the curtains did not close completely. I had a great experience at this hotel. Upon my arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the staff. They were very helpful and made the check-in process quick and easy. Housekeeping also did an excellent job with their service. Although it was my first time staying with Spark, I was very satisfied with the overall hospitality.

The receptionist, Shana, was cheerful and helpful. I wanted to watch a specific ball game on a specific channel, and she personally went and verified that the TV in my room would play the game. The hotel lobby and rooms are newly renovated, so everything is extra nice and clean. This hotel appears to have a lot of empty rooms tonight, but I bet that’s because people haven’t yet discovered how nice it is after the new renovations.
