Hyatt Place Murfreesboro

As frequent guests who visit once or twice each quarter, we had a bit of a rough start with our reservation and room upgrade. However, Luke quickly turned the experience around. He shared that he’s only been on the team for about a month, but you wouldn’t have known it by the way he handled everything. He was extremely accommodating, patient, and genuinely eager to help. We especially appreciated how clearly he explained everything and the effort he put into making sure we were taken care of. Great customer service and a great representation of the team. ⭐

The Hyatt Place in Murfreesboro was an interesting stay. First, at check in staff informed me there would be an additional $100 fee for my singular night stay due to bringing my small pet. I asked why this was not stated in my booking nor during the process of making my booking through the Hyatt app and the check in staff stated it was “stated in my booking”. I went back and confirmed it was not and also did a mock booking to make sure it was not stated and it was not. The only solution the check in staff could suggest was cancelling my reservation. I reached out to customer support through the Hyatt app and they stated there was nothing they could do and they would have the property’s general manager contacted me via email (my preferred communication method). Murfreesboro was a stopover on the trip back from Florida. It was a convenient stopping point before hitting Nashville, but still beyond Chattanooga. I picked out this hotel based on its affordability, its good reviews, and the Hyatt name.||What I got was a lot more than I expected.||Comfortable rooms? Check. But not just a comfortable room - an immaculate, modern comfortable room.||Complimentary breakfast? Check. But not just a complimentary breakfast - a tasty complimentary breakfast with good bacon, toast, cereal that I like…a breakfast where afterward, I don’t feel like I need to hit a gas station for snacks or a diner because the breakfast was trivial.||Service? Positive: The room was huge, which is what I had chosen and paid for. Loved the layout, the concept was good. It was just dirty. Breakfast left much to be desired. Very disappointed for the $--- I had paid. Negative: It needed cleaned. I bring Clorox wipes anyway but I had to use them on everything from the remote, which was on the floor, to the toilets and countertops etc. but the floor was just filthy. If bed had not been cleaned I would have called them.

I could not wait to share my experience here at the Hyatt place in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. My husband and I travel all over the world and this is by far my favorite hotel We have ever stayed in. I will start out by saying when you enter the hotel lobby it’s beautifully displayed. The staff members are very welcoming. We stayed in room 308. This hotel is beautifully decorated with modern designs. One of my favorite things is they had two luggage racks most hotels only give you a place for one. The bathroom has a lighted mirror. They have two hanging racks for each person to use by the shower. There is a full ironing board under the sink. It’s tucked away so it won’t be in your way. There are hanging racks throughout the room itself. The bed is so comfortable. I love the blackout curtains.
