Spark by Hilton Lexington

This hotel was clearly previously something else and recently renovated. But still - an older hotel. Staff was friendly and room seemed clean. Bathtub was not. I’m not sure if they just did not clean it well or it’s so old they can’t get it clean. Usually when updating bathtubs are replaced with showers. Either way we decided to shower when we got home. Breakfast was minimal - nothing hot and no fruit. Fortunately they did have hard boiled eggs. We are Hilton honors members and most of the time we have a good experience. But the quality is not always consistent. Would not stay again.

Positive: Price Negative: The room.was sparcely decorated. No desk, bureau or comfortable chair. Very clean. Coffee was terrible.

This was my first time staying at a Spark hotel, I’m a big Hampton Inn traveler. It was great! The price was excellent. The room was just as nice as the higher brands – they maintain that deluxe Hilton quality! The bed was comfortable and clean. The hallway was a little dorm like and The room is slightly “barer” than other brands, but not bad. They still use the contemporary design palette. The breakfast options are slimmer than others as well. The folks at the front desk were great.

Stayed here on a work trip. Picked this place specificly because they have designated truck parking. The staff is friendly as can be, especially "Grandma." The breakfast included doesn't have any hot items but it does have a parfait yogurt bar so that was different. Some rooms are better than others as they are still working through the transition to a Spark by Hilton Hotel. Plenty of doordash options. Would recommend Macados and Salerno Wood fired grill and Off The Skewer.

After driving ten hours we just couldn't go any farther. We couldn't find a Marriott so we settled for Spark by Hilton. Looked OK from the outside. Desk girl was pleasant and friendly. Got our room and everything looked good, until we pulled back the comforter and sheets. Both beds were obviously not fresh and had pubic hairs all over them and the pillow cases had dried drool on them. GROSS! We had already set up our C-Pap machines and changed into comfortable night clothes. The desk offered us a different room or new sheets if we wanted to change the beds. It was easier to just change the beds than to move to another room. The new sheets were fresh. First time I had to change my sheets in a hotel. Still freaks me out. I'll stick to Marriott from now on.
