Spark by Hilton Hamburg

Clean, quiet, safe, and brand new! I’m a huge fan of the Spark brand by Hilton and this one will be great when all is completed. Staff very welcoming and accommodating understanding concerns or addressing questions I had. Would definitely stay here again. The previous review sounds like someone who wants a Ritz Carlton. I think for the value, you can’t ask for more than the Spark brand! Thanks especially to Shawn at the front desk for his warm welcome.

I understand this is a new hotel and there may be some glitches…however that is how I would explain my stay. Nothing but glitches. When I checked in my digital key wouldn’t work at my room door. The physical key card the desk clerk gave me wouldn’t work either and therefore had to assign me a new room. When I finally got to my room the remote for TV didn’t work. I asked for a replacement, then the TV wouldn’t work properly with a multitude of issues (no sound, turning on and off by itself, “no signal” errors). After a long day of travel I shouldn’t have to troubleshoot. I should check into the room and relax. This stay wasn’t relaxing at all and rather frustrating!!

I decided to give this hotel a try since it was new. Once I looked at the rooms it prevented me from booking my stay. Its basically a Super 8 dressed up with new plywood furniture in the rooms. Very disappointing.

Glad we booked this hotel when driving through the storm. Pros Right next to I-90 Smells fresh Brand new construction Comfy rooms Ample amount of parking for work trucks Super contemporary looks Treat shops full Cons It was only a work trip Would definitely be a permanent family stop by spot for us.

Just had this hotel pop up on my hilton honors app. Staff is very welcoming and greeted me with free bottles of water as a hilton member. Hotel looks pretty swanky for the price they charge.
