Hampton Inn Buffalo-Hamburg

I've stayed at the Hampton Inn Buffalo-Hamburg several times for work in Dunkirk/Fredonia. I always have a great stay and the staff is very gracious and helpful. I usually stay for 3-4 days, so I need a refrigerator to keep some fresh food. Upon checkin, I opened the fridge to find it was plugged in and turned on, but not functioning. Within 5-10 minutes of calling the front desk, a wonderful and friendly woman, Charlene arrived to investigate. Within minutes she had determined the fridge needed to be replaced. She already had the cart ready to take it, and returned shortly thereafter with a brand new refrigerator and installed it. She was so kind, courteous and most of all, she was quick to problem solve. We have stayed here before and will stay here again when we visit family in Eden. We arrived a few days after an accumulation of snow. The driveway and parking lot, while cleared, still had quite a bit of snow and ice in the ground making it difficult to walk. Rooms are comfortable although pillows were a bit soft for us. Breakfast is good although not back to pre Covid choices. We were greeted but a front desk person who was friendly and helpful.

Positive: "" Negative: Parking was limited and the walk to the side doors were not shoveled and salted. Made it difficult to walk and very hard to wheel suitcase

I stayed with my family here for the weekend and was very disappointed in how housekeeping management treated us. Room could’ve been cleaner there was hair on the bathroom floor and in the shower. We asked a woman from housekeeping management team (older woman with brown hair and glasses) for service because we felt our room could’ve been cleaner it seemed as if our sheets were not washed just reused but never received any . She didn’t have a friendly or welcoming presence and had a very distasteful attitude. Not welcoming to guests of the hotel at all nor did she try and solve any issues we had with the room.

This was my first visit to this hotel and it was a pleasant stay. Other hotels in the area are not up to their standard. The room was clean spacious and comfortable. The front desk personal were great. The breakfast was super. The food was of a wide selection and delicious. Coffee excellent. What else could you ask for
