Comfort Inn & Suites Hamburg - Buffalo South

Upon arrival I encountered an amazing front desk staff! The staffing was helpful immediate and accommodating. My issue was the room. Initially it looked amazing perfect for a quick last minute stop. Upon further investigation of the room we noticed things were terrible left and right. Mold all on the wall by the ac as well as up the curtain. the vent smelt like mold the sheer curtain was tore all up the pull out drawers in the nightstand was warped from spills from previous guests assuming. The tub was filthy with others hair and grime EASY to wipe off may I add because I asked the front desk for something to disinfect it and it wiped off too easy to be missed that poorly. I’m giving 2 stars only because the desk clerk, Sharon, was wonderful. I’ve stayed here several times in the past and it used to be good. Now it is totally neglected and deserves 1 star. The bathroom was disgusting. There was only one person on staff. The desk clerk left the desk to come clean the room. We later discovered the bed was broken, the toilet was plugged and the night-lock didn’t work. They quickly assign us a new room. The curtains were ripped and closet door was missing. It looks like they have stopped spending money on the upkeep. If you stay here, don’t eat the measly breakfast.

Worst hotel experience ever in the Choice family of hotels! Prepaid for a week. Huge mistake. The morning front end assistant manager was a horror story. My first request was just minutes into the rental. I asked for toilet paper as our room had only a few squares left and no back up roll. She got the paper held it out to me only to snatch it back when I reached for it. Then in her best principle to naughty student voice she informed me I was only getting this because we booked a week. Not sure what would have happened if we were only there one night. Her inappropriat, rude behavior shocked us daily. On our last day I asked to speak to the owner. She clearly didn't want me do speak to him. She immediately went from rude to some level of crazy nobody should have to tolerate. Her meltdown in

Stay was good. Rooms were clean, big and comfortable. The Bathroom and some of the hotel could use some updating and work, but nothing major. Fitness room was open, but nothing worked, and not much weights available. Pool was also closed, not sure for what reason. Deadbolt on our door didn't work, no was their a door on our safe in the closet. Breakfast was nice, and staff was friendly. Overall, a nice stay, and better price then we have paid elsewhere when we come to Buffalo for a Bills game.

Hotel is not in good condition as slight smell and mirror off wall.  Breakfast was mediocre.  Older facility needs updating and renovations.  However, front desk staff, especially clerk Ben, were amazing.  One night was very overpriced.
