Ok so I'm working at the hospital and the weather is going to be bad. I don't want to be separated from my dog and this place was perfect. Dog friendly in the back and it was clean. I checked for bugs and there was no bugs. It smelled great and the staff was wonderful. I saw in the reviews people complain about the breakfast but for the price of the room the breakfast was just right. Cereal, muffins, bagels, yogurt and 3 different juices plus coffee. I'm very happy with the quality, the price, the food and the friendly staff.

Amazing experience the lady at the front desk was so professional and friendly. We had to extend our stay last minute and she was so accommodating The lady that does housekeeping offered us more towels. This a clean and well maintained hotel with a great staff and you can’t beat the price. Quiet safe and comfortable

We had a wonderful experience at Southern Lodge. The place is clean, comfortable, and very well maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere and newly renovated . The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist, which made our stay even more pleasant. The rooms were cozy and peaceful, perfect for relaxing, and the overall ambiance felt calm and homely. The location is also convenient and easy to access. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend Southern Lodge to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay. We would definitely love to visit again!

Arrived Saturday at check-in time (3p.m.) Room not ready. (Only 1 person available to clean rooms) Sunday morning, continental breakfast consisted of bread, bagels, and cereal. No breakfast meats, eggs or fruit. Sunday evening we went for dinner. Came back, keys didn't work. Thankfully, it was only 7 p.m. because the doors lock at 11 p.m. and no staff would be available until morning. TV remote was difficult to use. Tried to set the clock on the microwave, but it wouldn't set right. Took half hour to figure out how to set alarm on clock by the beds. Monday morning 6:30 a.m., went to get coffee, however the front doors were still locked. Foyer was dark and no staff available. Decided to leave at 7a.m. Wanted my receipt, but doors still locked and no staff available at that time. Called em

Great value for the amount paid on the rooms and a lovely experience from all the staff. My stay was very pleasant and I will definitely be back! Thank you 🙏🏾
