Room clean and very spacious. Good amenities for price. Staff at front desk not rude just cold and distant. $100 deposit for a 1 night stay that they dont refund for 3-5 business days seemed a bit excessive.

Very adequate and good value. This hotel is clean with friendly staff & in a good part of town. If you are a tourist, pay extra and stay downtown (ideally without a car) so you can walk/scooter while exploring. If you are a business traveler or doing things outside of Austin, this Sonesta is lovely. Clean room with plenty of cooking amenities. Walkable to the whole foods / REI / Panera if you choose to

This property at one time had a for lease sign banner on the side. I was staying there as a guest of a non profit. And if I were going to ever stay there again I would probably sleep on the first floor. Elevators are not in good condition. And before you check in double check and ask if a limited partnership is currently owning or managing. Your bank will reimburse you for your stay of the ownership and management are not current. Hospitality inns and suites East or West coast Non existent. Take the batteries out of the plugged in radio with different time zones danegerous and out dated. Also check TV setting for a PC. Leave your room when house keeping arrives. Look around the parking lot for cars parked near the property line by grass. Lastly don't complain to management. Call yo

I have stayed at this hotel for the last few years. Sometimes, long stays (6-10 months) and short; week or two. The staff are very friendly, accommodating and responsive to your needs; immediately. The Manager, Jaime Flores is excellent, strives to make sure your happy with your stay/experience. Staff are all long-term. Need I explain? I'm not one for writing reviews unless merited. I've read some of reviews this morning which unfairly bash this hotel; they're false. This is not a Ritz Carlton, nor are you paying those prices. It's a very nice hotel with many amenities (free). It is very clean (housekeeping excellent). Security officer on staff all night (no issues).
