Sonesta Select Milwaukee Brookfield

I used to love this hotel, staff very friendly and rooms were normally very clean, however this recent stay was a real disappointment, toilet and tub I had to clean myself because they were dirty and it was late. Then my granddaughter got sick in the middle of the night throwing up in the bed why did they say they would charge me to clean the sheets and towels when they have to wash them anyway, made me bring the heavy linens to the lobby as I was trying to leave to take the baby to urgent care just now empathy at all. This will be my last time patronizing me his hotel save your money it’s not worth it especially if you accidentally get sick.

Bed and pillows were very comfortable, but the room was dusty and floor dirty. They moved me to a different room because the TV in the first room wouldn't come on at first, and then only had one channel. The setup of the rooms is odd in that you have to pull out the TV and swivel it in order to watch it when you're on the bed and then the remote barely works. And there is no USB port in the room anywhere! So I went to the front desk and asked if they had an adapter that I could borrow so I could charge my phone. The elderly man at the desk said no when I asked in the evening. The next morning I went and asked someone else at the desk and they went to a drawer, pulled one out, and handed it over. Positive: Location was great Negative: Computer system was down when we arrived, bathroom shower had stains / didn't feel the cleanest, the next morning when we went to the pool there were ZERO towels out for guests (when the day before there were a few). Pool tiles inside the pool were dirty

Making the reservation, I stated I needed a room near the front of the hotel|(due to mobility issues) and the pull out bed made up. Arrived at the hotel and no|one was at the front desk. Receptionist finally comes out of the office, hands me the |keys, not explaining where our room was located. He stated, just pull around to the |side, the room is located by the first side door.||Walked the length of the corridor, no room number. Back to the|front desk, and he says to go to the rear of the hotel. (As far away from the front desk|as possible). Found the room—-nicely updated furniture, comfortable bed enough towels.|When the room was upgraded, carpet underlay must have been ignored. The floor |was freezing, as were the drafty windows. For the price, the hotel is decent. I do recommend a deep cleaning of the carpet, the pool area needs some ventilation, the breakfast is terrible. No one wants to eat the same thing every morning if you are staying the multiple nights. The staff is nice. The area is so quiet which I love. Just a few things that need to be addressed but I would come back.
