Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Milwaukee West (Brookfield), WI

Terry at the front desk was SO HELPFUL! she extended our stay, no problem, and moved us to a new room hassle free! Pool was great, breakfast was great, prices were very reasonable. Rooms were spacious and clean. Thank you Terry & team!

The location was great. We reserved a non-smoking room, close to the elevator. On arrival we were told they were booked up. I showed them my reservation. Seems they could get a better nightly rate as the MKE Brewers were playing a critical game and a little league had a championship. We were placed on the 3rd floor, a mile away from the elevators and you cold smell the smoke when the elevator doors opened. The entire floor reeked. However, the breakfast staff was super, as was the breakfast.

Overall, the hotel had everything I needed. Great location, and a decent outside area when traveling with a pet. The staff was outstanding 10/10! Everyone was friendly, helpful, and very welcoming of my dog. The room was sufficient - although it could have been cleaner. Carpets were stained, and there was a collection of goldfish crackers under the bed skirt, so more attention could be paid to cleaning. Coffee in the lobby was great, but my cup had grounds in it the last couple of days. I only went to breakfast on the last day - it was good - and always smelled great.

Our experience was not a pleasant experience. You could feel the springs through the mattress, and when the staff was informed of it they stated they would check the bed but the mattress wasn't replaced, our water for shower was less then luke warm so shower were cold. Staff told us that we need to let the water run and it will get warm but it did not get warm. We also found dirty socks on the bottom of the night stand. Was told at check in that if we made noise we would be kicked out and being there with a bunch of families all I worried about was getting kicked out. Won't stay here again.

I would give it a 4.6 stars and the reason why not a full 5 is because I swear the rooms havent changed in 20 yrs. The bathroom need some updated as far as design. Place is clean as a whistle, just outdated. Location is always great as you have everything you need within 5 mins of the location. Its ease in and out of the 94 is great. Service was awesome and they were absolutely kind.
