Sonesta ES Suites Parsippany Morris Plains

The main thing a hotel is supposed to do is provide a clean and safe place for the guests. This place did that. There was no frills or upgrades but it was very clean and comfortable and also quiet. The suite I stayed in was very nice and comfortable. The hallways were quiet and I felt very secure the whole time. Parking was a bit crowded- some spaces were blocked in by snow at the time of my visit. Breakfast was free (starts at 7pm) but it wasn’t much. The coffee at least was hot and pretty good. I did not see an elevator in my building, so if you can’t take the stairs you need to be sure to request the ground floor.

Positive: It was cleaned and quiet. Negative: We got the furthest room from the elevator. My daughter uses a walker and he didn't have anything closer.

Room was fine but the bottom floor of our building quite literally smelled like sour milk the whole trip. We were luckily on the third floor and only were down there a few times a day but it was absolutely foul. No to mention people were literally taking boxes of food from breakfast and we didn’t have much of a selection after their shopping trip.

I am in NJ for business and just wanted to extend my sincere thanks to B and Chris C.not only for their hospitality and professionalism but also for their kindness and support. I arrived very late, having been at Newark airport for 2hrs and B was so gracious to assist me with my checkin and she even helped me order food on Uber Eats as that’s all that was left. It was dicey as I thought my food was going to arrive on a bike but it all worked out as B was there to the rescue! Chris C was also amazing! He helped me with directions and familiarizing myself with the area and was so helpful upon my checkout. B and Chris C truly are the dynamic duo and Sonesta ES suites is so lucky to have them as they truly embody what impeccable customer service is which is very rare these days!

We had a great room. It was a two bedroom, two bathroom with a living room and kitchen in the middle. It was very comfortable and we loved that it had a fireplace. The breakfast in the morning was good. I loved that they had a pancake machine. They also had a outdoor fire pit. The only downside was that we were excited to use the hot tub that we saw in the online ad pictures but when we got there it was filled in. Otherwise everything else was great for our two night stay.
