Courtyard by Marriott Parsippany

I am a pretty consistent traveler for youth sports, requiring numerous weekend stays, but this hotel/stay really had issues when compared to others. Upon check in, I was incorrectly checked in and charged twice, two large, separate amounts. I am monitoring to see the 2nd charge removed but point being my money is now tied up until the correction is made. The hotel itself has an odor, not a pleasant one. I am unsure if the hotel allows pets, however our room reminded me of cat urine, and my neighbor's room had dogs barking that were not of the service dog type. My room wasn't clean. Upon arrival, copious amounts of facial hair from shaving were all over the vanity and sink. So much that I don't understand how it was missed by the cleaning staff which made me question the cleanliness

The positives first….Staff were friendly and beds were comfortable. However, the hotel is outdated and needs remodeling. One of the elevators was out of order. Overpriced for the amenities. No complimentary breakfast. Housekeeping is only offered upon request. If you need additional towels, be prepared to walk to the front desk to get them.

I drive from MA to NJ twice a year for one day/nite for a convention in Parsippany that I attend. I always stay at this hotel. The check in is a breeze and everyone is accommodating. Its also so nice that one of the staff members, Brandon, remembers me from a previous stay 6 months prior. He is a great guy, very pleasant and professional. I look forward to my next stay in April and would definitely recommend this hotel!

It was excellent and perfect. We love the fact that they are pet friendly. The room was nice, clean, no weird smells or anything. I recommend in the future for the rugs to be changed for new ones but , that doesn't mean they were dirty. They are kept nice and clean. That's just my opinion. We loved the customers service, the front desk lady was super nice and helpful. I requested room service and towels through the app and they replied right away. We totally recommended. ❤ Thank you for having us!!!

Its mediocre at best. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. If your an elite member that want member perks go elsewhere. There is no members lounge and you can not get upgrades.
